Summer 2003

Bruce was invited to be a celebrity guest performer at this year's Atlanta Blues Festival. On the evening of May 30,2003 he had the pleasure of sharing the stage with members of the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd,
38 Special, Molly Hatchet
and other notable musicians. The weather was great for the outdoor event and they put on a rockin' Allstar Jam performance, keeping the house on it's feet as they played into the evening. Bruce was also asked to do a live radio appearance on Atlanta's Z93 to promote the entire weekend's Atlanta International Guitar Show & Blues Festival activities. Bruce extends special thanks to Frank Fabiszewski Sr. and Frank Fabiszewski Jr. and their staff from Amazing Music in Smyrna, GA for inviting him to be a part of this fabulous event, and he is definitely looking forward to participating in next year's show.

Bruce recently performed at the Jacksonville, Florida BluesFest as a featured celebrity artist. He shared the stage with members from the Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws, Charlie Daniel's Band, 38 Special, Johnny Cash's band, Frankie Day of The Bobaloos and many others in an all-star jam that rocked the audience into the night. Great fun was had by all and Bruce looks forward to performing at the Atlanta BluesFest in the spring of 2004 with his friend Frankie Day of The Bobaloos.

Summer 2002

Bruce has always believed in supporting music for children. Most recently he shared his talents as consultant, guest lecturer and guitar teacher at Project: Experience, a multi-media music camp in Long Beach, Indiana. Bruce joined Steve Ball, Billy Romer, Adam Graham and Dawn Graham at a town picnic and benefit concert held Friday, July 5 at the Old School Community Center in Long Beach, Indiana, to kick off The Project: Experience Music Camp. The concert was the beginning of a weeklong music camp where young musicians learned about the music business, wrote and played their own songs, and cut a camp CD. The week ended with a campers' concert for family and friends.

For four Sundays in July and August, Bruce performed with Steve Ball as The Bruce Hastell / Steve Ball Project on the outdoor patio at The Red Arrow Roadhouse in Union Pier, Michigan. Just ten miles from the Indiana / Michigan line on Red Arrow Highway (Hwy 12), The Roadhouse is famous for great food and a relaxing time. Dinner is served until 10:00 (Michigan time). The crowd response was so fantastic that owners Tim and Jennifer Trout invited them back after Labor Day for additional performances. Call the Roadhous at 616.469.3939 or visit their web site at www.redarrowroadhouse.com for Bruce and Steve's next date and directions.
